1.Adam's Bridge:
The 17-mile long bridge is a line of rocks and sand, banks between India and Sri Lanka.
2.Agra:
Agra is located in Uttar Pradesh on the banks of Yamuna, it is famous for Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Moti Masjid. The tomb of Akbar at Sikandara and Fatehpur Sikri are also located near it.
3.Aga Khan Palace:
Aga Khan Palace is located in Pune where Gandhiji and his wife Kasturba interned during Quit India Movement of 1942. Kasturba passed away in this palace in 1944.
4.Ajanta and Ellora:
Ajanta and Ellora are located near Aurangabad in Maharastra.These are famous for Buddhist cave temples.
5.Ajmer:
Ajmer is located in Rajasthan and famous for pilgrim centre of Muslims. The tomb of Khwaja Moin-ud-din Chishti, the 12th century Sufi saint is located here.Khwaja was popularly known as "Garib Nawaz".
